Parking at the Port of Everett
Hat Express embarks and discharges passengers at her berth behind the Everett Yacht Club Building located at the western most end of 13th Street in the Central Docks of the Port of Everett off Marine View Drive.
Getting to the Hat Express Vessel
The Port of Everett is undergoing changes every month so check back here, often, for the latest instructions.
From Marine View Drive turn left on 13th Street. Proceed past Scuttlebutt’s (or after visiting Scuttlebutt’s) then veer to the left on an unnamed road (there may be small directional signs depending on the day). You will come to a stop sign. At the stop, turn left towards the parking lot, going the back way by the Marina restroom facility. Please only park in 72-hour Visitor Parking. Want to go back? Reverse this route.
As we get updates on construction and rerouting of traffic within the Port we will keep you posted. See parking information below.
Parking for the Hat Island Ferry is according to how long your stay will be on the Island. You have three choices as described below.
- Up to 72 hours. Free. Park in any slot marked Visitor Parking.
- Hat Island Long Term Parking Permits. The Port of Everett provides long-term parking spaces (limited to 40 permits). These spaces are preferred parking and will only be available to Hat Island owners who have purchased an annual parking pass thru the Hat Island Office. For 2018, please contact the office for permit information. The HICA office provides the Port with a list of vehicles having purchased these passes. The Port will patrol, ticket, boot, and will tow vehicles parked in this area without a valid permit.
- Load/Unload. An area for loading/unloading for the ferry is provided in the vicinity of the Everett Yacht Club building.
You can contact the Port of Everett security office at any time at 425-388-0672.
